Once again, Fazakerley High Schools eagerly anticipated Ski trip took place this January. Along with Mr Boardman, Mrs Whittle and Mr Walshaw, 21 lucky pupils jetted off to Alpe D'Huez in the French Alps for a week long skiing adventure.
On arrival, we were greeted with perfect ski conditions and clear skies which stayed with us for the duration of the trip. Under excellent instruction from Ecole Ski Francais pupils managed to profoundly improve their skiing ability and by day 6 were even skiing 'black' slopes.
If skiing wasn't tiring enough by day, we also had a packed après ski evening schedule including bum boarding and the now famous ski disco!
Not only were the pupils a huge credit to the school but also to themselves for making the week so enjoyable for all involved. We are already looking forward to January 2013 when we plan to return to Alpe D'Huez once more.
