Fazakerley House System
It’s back and it’s bigger and better than ever! The success of the school’s House System which was launched last year has been tremendous.
One of the initiatives from the system led to a change in school uniform. The colours of each house have been incorporated into the school ties and pupils are wearing them with great pride. House scarves may become available to come winter…..Harry Potter eat your heart out!
The system is changing slightly this year. Each pupil is automatically given two house points per day if they are in and arrive on time. Mrs Robinson then calculates each form’s house points on a weekly basis; the information is available for all to see on the house notice board which is located on the green corridor downstairs.
At the end of each term the house with the best attendance and punctuality will have an afternoon off timetable doing something exciting like bowling or visiting the cinema.
In addition to this, each house is being allocated a half term in which they raise money for their chosen charities. Each house is to come up with their own ideas and carry them out during school time….then as a reward for their hard work they will spend an afternoon in the hall watching a film and being treated to snacks.
The school is very proud of the House System which is now firmly embedded into school life. For further details speak to your form captains or heads of house.
