Once a week, each year group joins together for a morning assembly. These are delivered by members of staff as well as external representatives. During assemblies, pupils learn about and celebrate different religions, cultures and global events which encourages them to develop spiritually, socially, morally and culturally.
This gives them the opportunity to recognise:
- the negative effects of prejudice and discrimination, in all its forms
- the positive effects of different groups co-operating and working together
- that respect for other people is an integral part of their development as a citizen in any society.
