Cyber Safety

Mr Gallagher and Mrs Kirwan recently went to Leamington Primary School and had a great time working with pupils in an ICT workshop which helped pupils understand how to be smart and stay safe when using the Internet.

The Internet Safety Code "Zip it, Flag it, Block it and the "Smart Rules were introduced to pupils who now under-stand how to steer clear from bullies and stay safe online. Zip it, Block it, Flag it is based on the Green Cross Code; children are advised not to disclose personal information; to block contact from people who are bullying or harassing them and to flag up any problems to parents, teachers or website providers.

Fazakerley High Schools own "Stop Cyber Bullying campaign has been up and running now for a term and has been very successful. Bullying of any kind is not tolerated at all and this is our latest tool to help young people feel safe at all times.

If you are worried about cyber bullying or just want some advice or information then email stopcyberbullying@fazakerleyhigh.org. or speak to Mrs Kirwan or Mr Gallagher.
