On Sunday 23rd February, a group of Year 7- Year 11 pupils met at school at 23:30 to embark on the much anticipated trip to Normandy. Despite a very long day travelling, pupils were excited to arrive and explore their new home for the week.
Mr Davy managed to organise the trip so that the 5 days were jam-packed with activities, both in the daytime and evening. Highlights of the week included visiting the D Day landing beaches, browsing a traditional French market, crêpe making at Chateau du Tertre and a trip to the castle of Fougères (the largest medieval castle in Europe).
The pupils had a fantastic time and really enjoyed experiencing the French culture and way of life!
