Further, Higher, Stronger

Our school achievement programme, ‘Further, Higher, Stronger’, run by Miss Wraith offers the opportunity for all pupils in Fazakerley to be rewarded for going that extra mile in their academic and non-academic work. Depending on the number of activities you participate in, pupils could be on target to receive a bronze, silver or gold award for one, two or three activities. We have a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities at Fazakerley for pupils to get involved with, such as the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, Student Voice, Performing Arts events and many, many more! To qualify for the award pupils must have at least 70% attendance at an extra-curricular club. Pupils can also be selected for an award by having 100% attendance, demonstrating outstanding work in class or taking part in sustained independent study. Pupils will be nominated by their class teachers or by those who run the extra-curricular clubs.

The programme ran successfully for the first time last term and as you can see below, hundreds of pupils gained their first ever bronze, silver or gold award in the awards assembly.

This term we want to get even more pupils involved, so make sure you are going Further, Higher and Stronger to be on target to receive an award in the Spring achievement assembly!
