The FixUp Team

Fazakerley High School recently welcomed Josh from The FIXUP TEAM into school. He presented a range of exciting and interactive seminars to Years 7, 10, 11, 12 and 13.

The FIXUP TEAM is a group of passionate people focused on motivating students encouraging them to 'LIVE THEIR DREAMS‘ and ‘MAKE IT HAPPEN.‘

Josh was lively, funny and bounced around the hall engaging with all pupils. He focused in on topics such as self-worth, time management, study skills, motivation, stress management and goal setting.
The feedback from pupils and staff was amazing with pupils and staff stopping Josh in the corridor to shake his hand and say thank you.

It was Cobalt Housing who kindly funded Josh’s visit to the school. Cobalt Housing is a registered housing association based in North Liverpool. It was formed in February 2003 and owns 5,800 homes in Fazakerley, Croxteth and Norris Green. Their principle activities are the management, maintenance, improvement and development of affordable homes for rent and they are also actively engaged in a wide range of economic, neighbourhood and community regeneration activities in the areas they serve.

The school would like to thank Cobalt Housing Trust for providing our young people with the opportunity to be part of the inspiring seminars and we look forward to inviting The FIXUP TEAM back into school in the future.
