Artist Preview One To Watch

With two awards and a Top Ten single Jessie J is definitely "one to watch' this year. Before rising to fame last year with "Do it like a Dude' (peaking at no. 2 in the charts), she wrote music for household names such as Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys and Christina Aguilera. Last month alone "J' received both the Critics Choice and the Sound of 2011 Awards, only done once before by Adele in 2008. With promising new single "Price Tag' featuring B.O.B. and the release of her first album "Who You Are' 2011 could be a defining year for the up-and-coming artist.

Album Review Mumford and Sons. 'Sigh No More' by Freya McIver, Year 11

This charming debut album suggests greater things might still be to come from London-based indie folk quartet Mumford & Sons. The unveiling of "Sigh No More' in October 2009 saw the band's first album peak at number one in several countries. This made a huge impact on the four-piece's success at the Brits, stealing the award for Best British Album. Much of Mumford & Sons lyrical content has a strong literary influence; its debut album's name derives from Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing'. Mumford & Sons' live reputation goes before them, and now their incredible release reveals the extent of their magic and majesty on record. Their riotous, exhilarating single "Little Lion Man' has all the ingredients for a great crossover record, which is highly reminiscent of the earlier work of folk rock legend Bob Dylan. Feel the fire in your belly and the romance in your heart as you listen. Let your voice break into rapture and you too will "Sigh No More!
